The Casimiro Global Foundation (CGF), a registered 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, empowers youth globally (and those who are significant in their lives), to live meaningful and happy lives. The foundation also focuses on equipping teenage girls with the skills and mindsets needed to not only live a sustainable life, but to also benefit their communities through social impact projects.
To create growth development experiences that empower and teach youth to bring value to the world
The launching of the Casimiro Global Foundation (CGF) was based on the passing of Pedro Antonio Casimiro, its founder’s father. In honor of his father, Juan Pablo Casimiro founded CGF in October 2000. Pedro was a humble, hard working micro entrepreneur in Santiago, Dominican Republic. A man with spiritual beliefs that always supported and motivated his family to serve others. Pedro dedicated much of his life to helping the underserved.
Pedro Antonio Casimiro migrated to the United States in 1964 (temporarily leaving his children behind in the Dominican Republic) to seek better economic opportunities, hence providing as much as he could for his family’s well-being. Pedro understood about the importance of believing in God, managing his money and taking care of his family. Through his faith and hard work ethics, Pedro was able to bring his four children and wife to join him in the United States where he provided a comfortable and sustainable life.
When Pedro passed in August 2000, his son Juan Pablo, decided to put into action lessons learned from his father by creating the Casimiro Global Foundation in his honor. The work ethics, humanitarian acts, and love that Pedro had for people inspired his son to develop the foundation with the mission to empowering the next generation of social innovators, and global leaders through sustainability strategies and initiatives.
